Thank you to everyone who joined us to welcome Santa to Town Center on Saturday! We had a fantastic turnout for the Santa Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony! The beautiful tree, stunning lighting, and new location were a huge hit!

A special thank you to Panos Properties, The Jewelry Source, the good folks at Cuz Concrete and Big Trees in Snohomish, Hilary Bublitz with the Mill Creek Community Association, Rob Bingham with Outdoor Lighting Perspectives, and our amazing Public Works crew for helping bring our vision to life!

Thank you to our wonderful staff and volunteers, including Councilmember John Steckler and Kiwanis of Mill Creek, the Mill Creek Youth Advisory Board and our event partners, the Mill Creek Chamber of Commerce & Town Center Committee - we could not have done it without you. And thanks to the Mill Creek Police Department, South County Fire, and our Public Works Crew for keeping everyone safe throughout the event!

The Mill Creek Police Department is requesting information about an auto accident that occurred on December 4, 2025, at the intersection of 153rd St SE and Bothell Everett Highway, involving the Community Transit bus shelter.

Celebrate the upcoming holidays with a series of cookie decorating classes themed for Christmas! These cookie decorating classes even offer a kids version that includes admission for 1 adult and 1 child to decorate together!

Upcoming cookie decorating classes include:
⛄ Kids Christmas Cookie Decorating, Ages 6+ (registration includes 1 adult & 1 child) - Saturday, Dec. 13th at 2:00 p.m.
🎄 Farmhouse Christmas Cookie Decorating, Ages 10+ - Wednesday, Dec. 17th at 6:00 p.m.

Mill Creek City Hall and Passport Services will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th.

Passport Services will resume normal business hours on Saturday, November 29th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The City of Mill Creek has teamed up with Heroes' Cafe to host a Giving Tree & Sock Drive at City Hall.

Veteran wish lists include new men's and women's socks, thermal underwear & hoodies in adult sizes M-2XL, winter hats and gloves, and gift cards for essentials like gas and groceries.

Drop by City Hall North (15720 Main St.) or City Hall South (15728 Main St.) to choose a tag, or deliver your donations now at either location through Monday, Dec. 15th.

We'll also be taking donations at both City Hall locations during the Santa Parade & Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 6th! For more information, visit our Holidays on Main event page.

Many have been wondering about the changes happening in the plaza at The Jewelry Source in Mill Creek Town Center, and we have an update. Today, our dedicated Public Works Crew, along with the good folks from Cuz Concrete, did a masterful job installing the giant container that will be the temporary home for our new holiday tree. 

The City of Mill Creek has been celebrating a beloved tree lighting ceremony at City Hall for over 30 years! The tree has grown to over 35 feet and sadly, it's showing signs of age, so we'll need to say goodbye to it soon. 

Over the years, we've wished our tree was in a spot where the community could gather more easily for photos, caroling, and festive fun. Now feels like the perfect time for a change!

In the coming weeks, you'll see the box transform, and then on November 20th, a beautiful 14-foot Nordmann fir will be planted.
