What an incredible night at Party in the Parks & Kids Fun Run at Mill Creek Sports Park last night! Your energy, smiles, and community spirit made the whole event unforgettable.
A huge shout out to all our young runners in the K/1st, 2nd/3rd, and 4th/5th grade races—you brought the excitement! We had three winning participants in each category, and every runner went home with a Fun Run t shirt (thank you, Mill Creek Preschool!), race bib, and swag bag.

At last night’s Council meeting, Mayor Stephanie Vignal proclaimed July 11–12 as the 25th anniversary of the Mill Creek Festival. Members of the Mill Creek Chamber of Commerce were in attendance to accept the proclamation.

The Mayor also proclaimed July as Parks & Recreation Month in Mill Creek. Members of the City’s Park & Recreation Board joined us to accept the proclamation.

Possession, sale, use, or discharge of “Common Fireworks” is a violation of Mill Creek Municipal Code 5.12. A violation of this section would constitute a gross misdemeanor, punishable by a $5,000 fine or imprisonment not to exceed one year (365 days), or both.

Walk In Services:
Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
(No walk in services available after noon.)

Afternoon Appointments:
Monday–Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
(Appointment required.)

You may have noticed entryway signs coming down around Mill Creek. This is the first step in a summer project, approved by the City Council on May 26, 2026, to update entry signs throughout the city.
