Thank you Representative April Berg for joining the City in presenting Council your 2026 legislative recap. 

Representative Berg secured over $360k in funding for Mill Creek towards one of our legislative priorities related to the city-wide sidewalk repair and replacement project!

Please note that Bothell-Everett Highway, Trillium Blvd., 136th St. SE, and the adjacent streets will see lots of happy faces before, during, and after the event, so remember to adjust your routes accordingly.

Thank you to all who joined us bright and early at Frost this morning for the first City Chat with our new Mayor, Stephanie Vignal, and Mayor Pro Tem Melissa Duque. Also on hand to answer questions were City Manager Martin Yamamoto, Deputy City Manager Laurel Brock, and City staff. We had a lot of great conversations with our community! Thank you to Frost for hosting and serving delicious coffee and donuts!

Come meet our new Mayor, Stephanie Vignal, and Mayor Pro Tem, Melissa Duque at City Chat this Wednesday, March 18th from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Frost Bakery Cafe in Mill Creek Town Center. The first twenty to arrive can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and a treat, compliments of Frost and the City of Mill Creek!

City Chat is a seasonal event held four times a year in various locations throughout the City to help foster communication between the community and City leadership. Join fellow residents, ask questions, and share your thoughts and opinions!

Are you planning home renovations this year? Make sure your contractor knows City Stormwater Requirements. If a contractor causes a spill from your property, YOU are the responsible party, and the cost of cleanup will be on you. The City of Mill Creek has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the proposed South Town Center Subarea Plan.

The analysis and DEIS address Land Use/ Plans & Policies, Housing/ Population/ Employment, Aesthetics, Utilities, Transportation, and Biological Resources, which were identified during the EIS scoping process.

A 45-day public comment period is provided for this DEIS from January 27, 2026, through March 13, 2026.

Agencies, tribes, organizations, and members of the public are invited to comment on the DEIS. All comments are due no later than 4:00 PM on March 13, 2026.

A public meeting will be held on March 3, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Mill Creek City Hall (15728 Main Street, Mill Creek, WA 98012) to provide information and receive comments on the DEIS.

Mill Creek City Hall and Passport Services will be closed in observance of Presidents' Day on Monday, February 16th.

Passport Services will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, February 17th, at 8:00 a.m. 

We had so much fun hosting Coffee Connections with our friends at the Mill Creek Chamber of Commerce this week! Over an hour of amazing conversations, smiles, and delicious refreshments provided by Safeway and FROST made for an awesome morning of community connections. A huge thanks to everyone who participated, including: Mayor Stephanie Vignal, Mayor Pro Tem Melissa Duque, Councilmember Sean Paddock, Councilmember Tannis Golebiewski, Brian Trendler, and everyone else who came out to the event!
