Thank You, Mill Creek!

National Cleanup Day 2026 was a huge success thanks to the incredible community members who showed up and made a difference.

On Saturday, Sept. 19th, 26 dedicated volunteers, including Kiwanis of Mill Creek, the Mill Creek Youth Advisory Board, Rotary Interact Club, MCCA Noxious Weed Group, and additional families and individuals, collected more than 22 bags of trash, helping keep our city beautiful and welcoming.

Cleanup efforts took place in the following locations:

• Mill Creek Blvd. from Main Street to 164th
• North Creek Dr. from 145th to Sports Park
• Bothell Everett HWY (West side) from 153rd to 164th, 
• Bothell Everett HWY (East side) from Mill Creek Rd. to 153rd                 
• Dumas from 132nd to BEH
• Silver Crest Dr. from 35th to 28th
• Exploration Park to Silver Crest Dr.
• North Creek Trail from City Hall North to Duck Pond
• North Creek Trail from City Hall North to Azul’s
• Main Street from LA Fitness to City Hall North
• North Creek Trail from 8th Ave. to just past the Reserve

Events like this strengthen our community and preserve the natural spaces we all enjoy. Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, or helped spread the word!

Our crew has been working hard at putting the final touches on the Veterans Monument & Library Park Rehabilitation Project! This past week, they finished the installation of pavers, monument lighting, and several benches and tables around the park.

Mayor Stephanie Vignal officially proclaimed September as PTA Membership Month in the City of Mill Creek at Tuesday’s City Council meeting.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Cortney Pennebaker, President of the Everett PTSA Council, and to all members for accepting the proclamation and for their ongoing dedication to supporting students and families throughout our community.

The City of Mill Creek was honored to host one of our longest‑standing community partners, Mill Creek Little League, for the presentation of their first proclamation at Tuesdays City Council meeting.

Mayor Stephanie Vignal formally proclaimed September 1 as Little League Day in the City of Mill Creek.

We extend our sincere appreciation to President Preston Kallshian and Board Member Dave Osburn for their steadfast commitment to the youth of our community. Mill Creek Little League’s contributions enrich our city and support the development of future generations. Thank you!

Mill Creek City Hall and Passport Services will be closed for the observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Passport Services will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8th at 8:00 a.m.
