Freedom Field

Situated among the evergreen trees on Bothell-Everett Highway this beautiful sports park features a 64,000 square foot lighted field with turf play surface suitable for little league baseball/softball or soccer play.

 

A concession stand completes the park, along with an announcer's booth to call all the action on the field, and restrooms for park patrons.

Located adjacent to the field is a well-maintained 10,000 square foot lighted concrete skateboard park with many box features and a bowl.

General Use

Unscheduled use may occur as long as such use does not interfere with scheduled use, field maintenance, or field closures.

Unscheduled use must be non-league use, with no coaching/instruction, players in uniforms or officials, such as informal “sandlot/backyard” games among friends or neighborhood residents.

Mill Creek Sports Park Use Policy

This policy establishes consistent procedures for granting use of the fields and facilities, prioritizing user groups, ensuring equitable distribution and maximum use of the facilities by the public, and establishing administrative rules.

Seasonal Use

Freedom Field Rentals

  • Check the calendar to see if your dates are available.
  • Submit a field use application for the upcoming season before the due date (see: "Field Use Application Deadlines").
  • Your organization MUST provide a current Certificate of Insurance.
  • Your organization MUST provide a current City Endorsement.
  • Your organization MUST provide primary and secondary Responsible Party Contact Information.

Field Use Application Deadlines

Leagues, organizations, or clubs may apply for blocks of time for ongoing league-sanctioned events (practices and games) and/or tournaments lasting more than one day.

Application forms must be filled out by the following deadlines:

  • Spring & Summer Applications: January 1st - January 31st
    • For Use in: March, April, May, June, and July
  • Fall Applications: June 1st - June 30th
    • For Use in: August, September, October, and November
  • Winter Applications: October 1st - October 31st
    • For Use in: December, January, and February
