Mill Creek’s Memorial Day Ceremony helps ensure that the sacrifices made by our fallen veterans on behalf of our nation and its values will not be forgotten. Throughout our nation’s history, so many men and women have given their lives to ensure freedom for all. We will always remember.
Memorial Day Commemorative Ceremony 2025
Mill Creek's annual Memorial Day Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 26, honoring all who have served in the United States military across all branches. We invite the public to join us for a commemorative ceremony at 9:00 a.m. at the Veterans Monument in Library Park, located at 15429 Bothell Everett Hwy.
The ceremony will include remarks from Mill Creek Mayor Brian Holtzclaw, Senator John Lovick, Congresswoman Susan DelBene, Veteran Kittie LaFazia—Commander of American Legion Post 127 and Director of the Heroes' Cafe in Woodinville—and Chaplain Nick Lewis of the Mill Creek Police Department.
Additionally, the event will feature presentations by the Mill Creek Chorale and the Mill Creek Police Department Color Guard, which will include the raising of the colors accompanied by Bugler George Moffat.
