Capital Projects
Capital Projects are construction projects that involve City owned or maintained property.
Some examples of Capital Projects are:
- Parks & trails redevelopment
- Road paving and construction
- Stormwater facility construction/repair
These projects are managed by the Engineering division of Public Works.
Community Development Initiatives
Community Development Initiatives are planning projects that can involve City owned or maintained property and/or private development guidelines.
Some examples of Community Development Initiatives are:
- City Subarea Planning (Mill Creek Town Center, The Farm, etc.)
- Community Campus Planning
These projects are managed by the Community Development & Planning division of Public Works.
Land Use Development Projects
Land Use Development Projects are planning projects that involve private development guidelines and restrictions, and/or public rights-of-way.
Some examples of Land Use Development Projects are:
- Private Property Development (Residential & Commercial)
- Construction of additional structures
- Utility work
These projects are managed by the Community Development & Planning division of Public Works.
Requests for Qualifications and Proposals & Calls for Bid
- Requests for Qualifications are public notices looking for qualified contractors applicable to the listed project.
- Requests for Proposals are public notices looking for designs or concepts applicable to the listed project.
- Calls for Bid are public notices looking for a quote of labor and materials applicable to the listed project.
