Sean Paddock moved to Mill Creek in 2014 and is deeply committed to fostering a city that is safe, prosperous, and vibrant—one that offers a high quality of life for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.

"My background in business and finance has instilled a strong focus on ensuring the City's long-term financial sustainability while continuing to deliver valuable services to the community."
Paddock joined the Council after serving on the Mill Creek Planning Commission, where he continues as Council liaison. He also serves on the Council’s Finance Committee. With three decades of leadership experience in finance, strategy, and technology, he has successfully driven business transformation and innovation for both large and small companies across the region. Additionally, he remains actively engaged in community service through several organizations that support local initiatives.
Councilmember Paddock holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance and Accounting from San Diego State University and has completed postgraduate studies at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. He is married to a public school educator, is the father of three adult children, a proud grandfather, and is an enthusiastic runner and reluctant swimmer.
