Mayor Pro Tem Stephanie Vignal's focus is to ensure that Mill Creek continues to be a welcoming, thriving, and safe community for all its residents. "Public safety and long-term economic sustainability for our city are key topics that I work on as a council member," says Vignal. She wants to ensure that the city continues to prioritize community needs like safe trails, roads, and economic vitality while also looking ahead.
An avid runner, Vignal first came to the Council as a volunteer on the Parks and Recreation board where she advocated for playgrounds and trails. During her tenure on the council, Vignal has continued to advocate for parks, safety, and economic development. She feels that being accessible and listening to residents is a top priority and participates in quarterly City Chats and community events to actively hear what issues are top priorities for residents.
Vignal holds a degree in Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University. She has over 13 years of residential and commercial property management experience and received her Certificate of Municipal Leadership (CML) from the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) in October 2021. She currently serves on the City's Legislative and Finance Committees and is on the steering committee for Snohomish County Tomorrow.
