Mill Creek City Hall and Passport Services will be closed in observance of Juneteenth on Friday, June 19th.

Recreation programs in City Hall North will proceed as scheduled for the day. Passport Services will resume normal business hours on Sunday, June 20th, at 8:00 a.m.

At last night’s Council meeting, Mayor Stephanie Vignal formally proclaimed June 2026 as LGBTQIA+ Pride Month in the City of Mill Creek. We had a fantastic turnout, including members of the Mill Creek Pride organization, who joined us for this meaningful moment.

The City Council also honored graduating seniors from Jackson, North Creek, and Archbishop Murphy High Schools who serve on the Mill Creek Youth Advisory Board. Each MCYAB member volunteers more than 20-hours every semester to support City and community events and contributes their time and talents to organizations such as the Mill Creek Food Bank.

A heartfelt thank‑you to our 26 graduating seniors for your service and leadership. Congratulations—we’re proud of you!

Ever wonder what’s really in fertilizer?

Thank you to all who participated in our Memorial Day Ceremony yesterday, May 25th, at the Veterans Monument at Library Park in Mill Creek.

We were honored to have so many join us and to hear from Mayor Stephanie Vignal, Senator John Lovick, Congresswoman Susan DelBene, King County Director of Veterans Affairs Joseph Najmolhoda (representing Senator Patti Murray), Representative April Berg, Representative Brandy Donaghy, Veteran Antonia Rice and Vice Chair of the Mill Creek Park & Recreation Board, and Chaplain Nick Lewis. The event also featured presentations by the Mill Creek Police Department Honor Guard, Michael Marletto with the Mill Creek Chorale, and Bugler George Moffat.

Mill Creek City Hall and Passport Services will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25th.

Passport Services will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26th, at 8:00 a.m.

We also invite you to join us for our Memorial Day Commemorative Ceremony on the morning of May 25th at 9:00 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the Veterans Monument at Library Park (15429 Bothell Everett Hwy.)

Mayor Stephanie Vignal proclaimed May 3-9, 2026, as National Small Business Week in the City of Mill Creek at last Tuesday’s Council meeting.

To mark the occasion, Mayor Vignal and Mayor Pro Tem Melissa Duque visited two local businesses to present each with an official proclamation.

Paddywack, one of the original Mill Creek Town Center businesses, has proudly served pets and their people for 21 years. Owners Adam Felker and Shane Somerville, who have led the shop for the past 12 years, continue to celebrate the privilege of being small business owners in this wonderful community.

They also visited Yoga in the Center, located in the heart of Mill Creek Town Center and owned by Janet Clayton. Janet embraces a welcoming, come-as-you-are philosophy—believing that all yoga is good yoga, and that no one can ever be “bad” at it.

We’re grateful for Janet, Adam, Shane, and all our small businesses, and for the vital role they play in making Mill Creek vibrant, welcoming, and uniquely ours.
