Councilmember Tannis Golebiewski

Position 4

Councilmember Tannis Golebiewski is a lifelong Pacific Northwest resident who has called Mill Creek home since 2003. Tannis’s priorities include preserving green space, protecting natural resources, promoting public safety, and strengthening community engagement. She also emphasizes the need for thoughtful planning around growth and housing, believing Mill Creek must remain a place where future generations - including her own children - can build their lives. 

A mother of five, she has spent more than two decades deeply involved in the community through local schools, youth sports, faith organizations, and Girl Scouts. She is a Troop leader, local Service Unit volunteer and sits on the Board of Girl Scouts of Western Washington.

Tannis was elected to the Council in 2025 after serving on the Parks and Recreation Board since 2021. Her work focused on improving parks, supporting community events, and ensuring residents’ needs guide city decisions.

Tannis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Political Science at Case Western Reserve University.
