The City of Mill Creek is now accepting applications for our annual Veterans Day Parade, taking place on Wednesday, November 11. This year’s event will be especially meaningful as our nation commemorates America’s 250th Anniversary, and we’re inviting the entire community to help make this celebration our most memorable yet.
Each November, Mill Creek comes together to honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of United States veterans. As we prepare for this milestone year, we’re looking forward to filling Main Street with even more energy, creativity, and community pride. Whether you’ve participated in the past or you’re joining us for the first time, we’d be honored to have you take part.
Previous parade entries have included classic car groups with veteran riders, dance teams, marching bands, military vehicles, local businesses, schools, volunteer organizations, and more. No matter if your idea is big, small, traditional, or brand-new, we welcome your participation and creativity.
Applications are open September 1 through October 30. Event details and application forms are available at millcreekwa.gov/veteransday. While applying does not guarantee placement, it is required for consideration.
We’re also seeking volunteers to help bring this beloved community event to life. From supporting parade operations to assisting with day of logistics, volunteers play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and meaningful celebration for our veterans. If you’re interested in volunteering, information and sign up opportunities are available at millcreekwa.gov/volunteer.
Let’s come together as a community to salute our veterans and celebrate America’s 250th. We can’t wait to welcome you to this year’s parade!
