Kids Fun Run Returns in 2026!
The Party in the Parks: Kids Fun Run for 2026 will feature three different races with age-appropriate distances for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade:
- Kindergarten & 1st Grade: 1 lap (.25 mile)
- 2nd & 3rd Grade: 3 laps (.75 mile)
- 4th & 5th Grade: 6 laps (1.5 miles)
Registration is required to race, and spots are limited. Each age group/race distance is limited to 50 participants each and registration will be open soon!
Race Guidelines
• Limit of 150 participants for the entire race. (50 per age bracket)
• Advance registration is required - NO same day registration. Online registration will close the day before or when brackets are full.
• Check in for all registered participants begins at 4:30 p.m. with a warmup starting at 5:00 p.m.
• Top 3 finishers in each category will be recognized on the winner's podium after all races have concluded. This race will not be timed officially, although volunteers will be tracking the top 3 finishers in each category.
• Parents must be in attendance with their children at check-in and during the race, although the racecourse is for kids only (parents allowed on course for K/1st). Parents can watch and cheer from the sidelines.
Race Timeline
4:30 p.m. Check-in Opens for all age groups
5:00 p.m. Warm up
5:30 p.m. Check-in closes for all age groups
5:30 p.m. Party in the Parks opens to all
5:30 p.m. Kindergarten/1st grade race
6:00 p.m. 2nd grade/3rd grade race
6:30 p.m. 4th/5th grade race
7:00 p.m. Podium
The Party in the Park event ends at 8:00 p.m.
