Art and Beautification Board Seeks Two Board Members

Volunteers with a background or interest in landscaping or art are needed to fill two vacancies on the City of Mill Creeks' Art and Beautification Board. The terms of both positions lasts three years, expiring on Oct. 31, 2020. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall South, 15728 Main St.

The Art and Beautification Board is an advisory board that focuses on matters of designing landscaping, acquiring artwork and proposing projects for all City owned property. Board members utilize the Municipal Art Fund to enhance the aesthetics and beauty within common and business areas of the City.

Board members should have an interest or professional experience in landscaping or art, and must be residents or own/operate a business in the City. Letters of interest are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31.
